A shared vision
Sabio is founded on a desire to do what is right for its customers.
Incorporated in 1998, founders Sebastian Henkes, Adam Faulkner, Kenneth Hitchen and Paul Began shared the same vision of a business built on strong ethics dedicated to providing excellent customer service through innovative technology solutions. They, along with an employee option scheme, still wholly own the business today.
The company has grown organically year on year for the past eleven years.
The absence of any external investors, debt [or requirement for finance facilities] allows Sabio's Board of Directors to manage the business solely in the best interests of its customers and employees.
The Board has the freedom to decide independently the best direction for the company in its goal to deliver consistent high quality service to a continuously growing customer base.
The name Sabio reflects the importance placed on the quest for knowledge, achievement and embracing the benefits of diversity. Spanish for 'wise', Sabio originates from King Alfonso X "el Sabio" (1221-1284) known for his learning and fostering of interaction between intellectuals of different faiths placing an emphasis on tolerance and cultural achievement.
