Active Health Partners selects Sabio to support its complex, business-critical multi-vendor contact centre technology

Sabio to provide 24x7 support for AHP’s Avaya Communications Manager, Verint call recording, and IP-enabled homeworking

LONDON – 5 June 2008 – Sabio, the contact centre consultancy services company, has won a two-year contract to support Active Health Partners’ business-critical contact centre operation. Active Health Partners (AHP), is the UK’s leading absence management company, operating an innovative 24x7 contact centre staffed by nurses - many of whom work from home. Under the new contract, Sabio will support AHP’s broad range of contact centre solutions, support the company in optimising the performance of its customer service operations, and provide a single point of contact for any contact centre technology issues.

Active Health Partners provides organisations with an innovative absence management solution, based on an IP-enabled Nurse Contact Centre that provides customers’ employees with professional medical advice and records their absence in a secure, electronic case file. AHP’s contact centre infrastructure is business-critical, and Sabio will provide a 24x7x365 support service to ensure that the centre is always up and running. In addition to support for AHP’s complex IP-enabled technology stack, based around Avaya Communications Manager, Verint Call Recording and Cisco networking, Sabio will also provide AHP with consultancy and managed service support around key areas such as contact centre optimisation, disaster recovery and software licencing.

“It was important that Sabio was able to demonstrate a real depth of expertise across all our key technologies from vendors such as Avaya, Cisco and Verint, however we also wanted to work with a company that could offer more than just support,” commented Brett Edwards, Head of Contact Centre Operations for Active Health Partners. “Right from the outset it was clear that Sabio was the right partner for AHP, taking the time to understand how our business worked, and then offering a support and managed service capability that exactly met our requirements. The fact that Sabio also has proven domain expertise as a leading Avaya and Verint business partner was also a key factor in our decision to award them the contract.

“Because Sabio can support all our key technologies, we now only need to work with a single support partner, and we’ll always know who to call. In addition, Sabio’s technical expertise means we can work with them to further refine our contact centre infrastructure, optimising our different solutions, and making sure we always have full resilience built into the system,” he continued.

“We’re delighted that Active Health Partners have entrusted the support of their business-critical IP-enabled contact centre technology infrastructure to Sabio, and we look forward to developing our partnership going forward,” added Sabio Director, Adam Faulkner. “With over half of the company’s contact centre nurses working from home, it’s essential that AHP’s technology performs optimally, and we believe that our combination of deep technical understanding and business awareness will provide AHP with exactly the kind of intelligent support service they were looking for.”
