LONDON – 31 March 2010 – Sabio, the specialist contact centre systems integrator, has announced that it is to sponsor the second annual South West Contact Centre Awards that are being held in Bristol on June 24th. Organised by the South West Contact Centre Forum (SWCCF), the 2010 awards recognise and reward commitment innovation and excellence from the region's multi-million pound contact centre industry, and celebrate the achievements of some 52,000 contact centre workers from 280 contact centres across the South West.
The awards acknowledge the achievements of contact centres in key towns and cities across the region, including Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Organisations have until April 15th to enter the 2010 awards that include categories for Support Person of the Year, Agent of the Year, Team Leader/Supervisor of the Year and Manager of the Year. New categories for 2010 include the Emergency Services Award, Trainer / Coach of the Year, Best outsourced partner and Best Utilisation of Technology. Sabio also sponsors the European Call Centre Awards; supporting excellence and innovation in the industry reflects the company's philosophy that delivering exceptional customer contact strategies and solutions can bring real business benefits and success to organisations.
"As a specialist contact centre systems integrator, Sabio is committed to implementing best practice technology solutions for some of the UK's leading organisations, so we're delighted to sponsor this year's South West Contact Centre Awards as they recognise excellence across one of the country's key contact centre regions. The South West is also an important region for Sabio, and one where we've had a lot of recent success working with some of the area's major customer service organisations," commented Sabio's Head of Marketing, Leigh Hopwood. "We look forward to celebrating the South West's most impressive contact centre performances on June 24th, and would encourage both individuals and organisations to submit their award entries quickly at www.swccf.co.uk as the deadline closes in just two weeks time!"
Colin Jones, chairman of the SWCCF and Head of Contact Centre Operations at the Chelsea Building Society, Cheltenham, added: "contact centres play an important role in the success of countless organisations and businesses. The South West Contact Centre forum was established in 2008 as an industry-led initiative that supports the call and contact centre sector in one of the largest regions in the UK. The initiative has brought together public and private contact centres, academics, support organisations and government agencies to share good practice, help professionalise the sector and strive for excellence."
