Two Sabio clients shortlisted for the Professional Planning Forum Award 2005
Sky and Glasgow City Council are finalists for the ‘Innovation of the Year Award’
Demonstrates strength of Sabio consultancy skills and long-term planning management
London – 18 April 2005 - Sabio, the innovative contact centre services and solutions company, has announced that two of its clients – Sky and Glasgow City Council - have been selected as finalists for the Professional Planning Forum’s 2005 Award. The Planning Forum is the independent industry body that supports effective resourcing in the contact centre industry and has selected the two Sabio clients as finalists for the ‘Innovation of the Year’ Award.
Judges have selected the entries from Sky and Glasgow City Council based on how the organisations have improved the use of resources to create a clear measurable impact on performance, morale and efficiency, as well as the ability to respond to change in the contact centre. Both organisations have worked with Sabio on Workforce Optimisation strategies within their contact centres.
Paul Smedley, Executive Director at the Professional Planning Forum said: “We run the Innovation Award because we want to show the huge progress that is being made in call centres to improve life for both the customers and the employees – and to demonstrate that planning analysts are often critical to making these improvements happen. This year the standard of entries was incredibly high, each entry demonstrated that they can turn things around and make their contact centre a better place to be. Our awards are presented for specific projects or new working practices that make a big difference to how a contact centre has operated in the last year.”
Adam Faulkner, Director Sabio said: “Sabio works closely with Sky and Glasgow City Council on their contact centre Workforce Optimisation strategies so we are delighted they’ve been selected for this prestigious award.”
Sabio provides Sky with strategic consultancy and services to optimise its contact centre performance. As part of the project to streamline processes between the company’s four contact centres and busy Human Resource department, Sabio has worked to seamlessly integrate Sky’s PeopleSoft HR software with the Open Wave Workforce Management (WFM) solution. This project is on track to achieve a complete return on investment for Sky within just six months.
Sabio worked with Glasgow City Council on the implementation of the Open Wave Workforce Management solution. Now the Council can optimise its Access Centre performance, forecasting and managing agent workloads and matching staff to operational requirements. The Council can focus on other key performance management areas to ensure service level targets are met while balancing the increasing complexity of Access Centre staff needs.
