Sabio wins Contact Centre Challenge Cup for 2nd year running
Sabio is crowned champion following gruelling eight hour endurance Go-Kart race
London – 19 July 2005 – Sabio, the innovative contact centre services and solutions company has walked away with the Contact Centre Challenge Cup for the second year running, beating off fierce competition from suppliers, customers and competitors from across the contact centre industry.
During the two-day event, 10 teams of Go-Kart drivers battled to win the prestigious trophy. This culminated in the eight-hour endurance race, which involved completing 350 laps of the 1360 metre track in Milton Keynes.
Representing Sabio at the event were team captain Stuart Coleman, Stuart Dorman and Rod Coleman, who were joined by some of Sabio’s customers including Channel4, Egg, Selection Services and TG21.
Throughout the race the team had to complete tasks such as the Pitstop Challenge where they had to change the wheels of a Jordan Formula 1 car – which took the Sabio team just 23 seconds. Stuart Dorman also had the prestigious accolade of completing the quickest lap of the race in just 70.1 seconds.
“The atmosphere at this year’s event was brilliant,” commented Stuart Coleman, Sabio. “The event provided an excellent opportunity to network and it was a fantastic team-building exercise. The team fully expected to retain the cup and I see no reason why we can’t do it again next year!”
The Contact Centre Challenge Cup event was run by ContactCentreLink on 23rd and 24th June 2005.
