Contact centre specialist Sabio accredited as official NHS supplier

Sabio selected for new Voice, Video and Data Products and Services categories based on its best practice expertise, proven experience and vendor-independence

London – 20 September 2005 – Sabio, the innovative contact centre services and solutions company, has been selected as an official contracted supplier to the National Health Service following the re-competition for contracts that began in February. Sabio is now an accredited supplier for voice, video and data solution developments under the new NHS IT Framework, the accredited list of IT service suppliers for all NHS Trusts in England. The company was awarded accreditation because of its proven record of intelligent systems integration and consultancy on complex contact centre installations.

The NHS selected Sabio because of its deep IT and telecoms experience, its proven capabilities in complex systems integration and its in-depth knowledge as a vendor-independent consultancy. A key factor was Sabio’s deep understanding of current operational best practice for contact and access centres across the public sector, having completed a major workforce optimisation and support contract for the 350 nurses and advisers at NHS Direct Wales, built and optimised the systems and applications for the award winning Newport City Council contact centre, and completed a virtualisation project for Bury Metro Council.
